As this most certainly can’t be the first time you are hearing of SOPA, I won’t bother explaining the bill and why it is a force that must be stopped. I will however provided some useful and enjoyable links regarding both SOPA and PIPA (not the “royally” hot sister). .
Big Name Blackouts
A bunch of the big players are participating in today’s blackout including Google, Reddit, and Wikipedia. Facebook and Twitter, however, announced they would not join in the protest because it was not worth the loss of revenue or the anger it might cause users.
